This makes a tutal of .Cl2O lis lOd collected and forwarded to the treasurer for this fund. As the funds for tiie poor in England and Belgium are now occupying the attention of all, probably , the firstmentioned list may be considered closed for the present, but from the really liberal way in which the majority of the residents of Warca have responded to the first call there can be but little doubt they will be prepared to do more later on if required. The way in which every part of the Empire is shouldering its part of the burden makes one feel prouder than ever of being a British subject.
