The needs of the starving people of Gregt Britain and Belgium will be severe indeed during the costing winter and in no time in the history of our Empire has there beea a worthier claim for assistance. Any help given will be given in a noble cause, and will be well repaid by the • knowledge that in some small degree a duty we owe to th» Mother Land has been fulfilled. It is intended to forward a shipment of Food, Clothing, Blankets, 'etc., for distribution through the agency of the "Prince of Wales' Fund,'' with the co-operation of thu New Zealand High Commissioner in London.
