Tlie interests of the audience is gripped from the start, and one follows the career of the hero and the beautiful Welsh heroine with almost bated breath as they pass through the many tangled schemes made to lure them from the path of duty and devotion. 'Towards the end of the drama, when the guilty foreman, who is a thief and a murderer, is carried through the mine at almost lightning | speed in an ore truck, and meets his dej served fate, the tenseness of the situation is relieved by the exhilarating ending.
