GERAtAN KINGS IN COUNCIL. NO SACRIFICE TOO GREAT. Received 3, 11.45 p.m_ tAmsterdanj, November S. Copenhagen reports that the Kaiser presided at a meeting of a War Council at which the Kings of Saxony and Wurtemburg were present. It waa unanimously agreed that no sacrifice was too great in order to achieve the north coast of France.
After the Council the Kings visited Antwerp and Brussels. KAISER'S ENORMOUS RESOURCES. RECONNOITRING MUST BE IMPROVED. London, November 2. German experts soy that Germany possesses eighteen million military reservists. A German Staff order enjoins commanders to improve their reconnoitring, because the French airmen easily discover the disposition of the troops, while the French adopt means of protecting themselves from aerial observers. The success of the French artillery, which lias caused such heavy losses, is chiefly attributable to their discovering the German positions.
WAR INDEMNITY REDUCED. Received 3, 11.45 p.m. Amsterdam, November 3. The war indemnity on Brussels lias been reduced to £1,800,000, payable at the rate of £IOO,OOO weekly.
