COMMITTEE .MEETING. There was a fairly full muster of committee members at last night's meeting, the president, Mr. J. 8. Oonnett, in the ohair. The country organiser attended the meeting, and reported on the work done during the monih, which was considered very satisfactory, auguring well for the. future of the Society. Fourteen new members were elected. Messrs Webster Bros, wrote offering on behalf of Messrs SulAon and Sons, ten guineas in cash prizes for a swede acreage competition. Mr. Newton King and Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co. (on behalf of Garton's) also offered prizes of ten guineas each for the vsanie class of competition for the next winter show. Mr. Frank lloskin (Sentry Oill) wrote offering a -trophy of live guineas for sheep classes; and Mb. T. Weston (Hell BIock) offered two gold medals for sheep classes. Messrs Dhr.ock and Co. offered * fiveguinea trophy for the most successful competitor at tiho winter show. Mr. Lister offered a special prize for the green feed competition, and Mr. AY.
