A number of enthusiasts, however, roll up to practice regularly for bowls, but the cricketers have wot as yet organised. To-day is Labor Day, and some of our tradespeople 'have decided :» close, while 'others are keeping open. It would be much bdttev if tradespeople look united 'action in these matters. Th P-res'bytreian Church Sunday held a children's social l:i the Druids' Hall 011 Friday night, an! proved a very enjoyable affair.
