MILITARY EXHUCISES AT EUMONT ROAD.

The following scheme of work for Monday, October 20, has ibeen drawn up by Major Bellringer at the request of the outers of the Defence Kiile Club, and of ilie cadets:—

All troops to parade at Coronation Hall in tf.3o a.m. Bring their own lunch and pannieans. Hot tea will be provided. Training.—'Maroll—<l ilsoipl in e, n ~l vailced guard work, etc., on march to Egmont road. Instruction to be given by chief umpire. Forces to march separately from Fitzroy. On arrival at area of operations th© balance of tile morning to be devoted to instruction in attack and defence. Instruction to bo given to each force separately by its own commander. Special attention to be given to question of lire control, and the advantages and disadvantages o£ cover available. Lunch at noon. The afternoon will bo devoted to .the tactical scheme hereinafter mentioned. The area of operations luus already been pointed out to the commanders and will 'be communicated to the troops.
