Lambs.—There was a larger yarding than u.iual, but iittle change in prices. Best 18s «d to 10s 9d; others 14 6d to 18s Gd. Pigs.—There was a medium yarding of fat pigs.—Competition was keen, and although prices were erratic, they siiowed an improvement on last week's rates. Porkers, 40s to 50s; baconers, 50s to 00s; heavy baconers, to S2s; stores were in short supply, and were very dear; well-bred suckers, 20s to 24s (id; medium sorts, 15s to 18s (Id; slips, 25s to 30i. ui . —— Z^l&tfil ADDING TON. Ciiriatchurch, October 21. There, were small entries of fat stock except the lambs at the markets to-day. Beef was iirmer in. consequence of the shorter yarding. Storo sheep and fat sheep showed no change, and fat lambs were easier, as there were more offered than were required. Store sheep—Woolly sheep: Medium two-tooth., owes, with lambs, 13s, all counted; good six and eight-tooth ewes, 14s 6d; failing - mouth ewes, with lambs, 12s lid (passed); medium four-tooth wethers, l'Js; medium hoggets, 13s to 14s; cull hoggets, 10s. Shorn Sheep.—Fairly forward fourtooth wethers, 15s 3d. (passed); very forward four-tooth wethers 10s; hoggets, lis 4d to 12s 2d.

There w&3 an excellent attendance of buyers, and competition was extremely keen mid animated. Wool and sheepskins were much in demand, the former showing an increase of 2d to 3d per lb, the latter being up to ordinary prices. Hides and calf.-ikins also advanced.
