.Should the dry weather experienced recently continue during the next fortnight, it is stated that the Auckland strawberry crops will be a comparative failure, says the Auckland Herald. The dry spell already experienced is a contributing factor, and all the crops are very backward, few beds being at present in (lower. The dredge will be built in New Zealand, and will be completed in about three months.
