Company's ICini, bound frouu Napier to GreYmouth, was disabled south-wort Blackhead on Monday nigfht with a broke® tail shaft. The second officer, j Dalgleish, left the Kini in 'tftie lifeboat) on Tuesday morning tat 9 o'clock with the second engineer, three seamen, and two firemen, and arrived at Blackhead on Thursday. The captain and the remainder of the crew are on board. They havo three weeks' provisions, and except for tho disablement all were well on board when the othem left. Wellington, October 10. The Union Company ia dispatching the steamer Terawhiti to tho assistanee of ■the disabled Kini.
