FIRES.
PUBLIC HALL BURNED. By Telegraph.—Press Assooiatioa. j Carterton, October 7. Eire destroyed the Morisoa Bush public hall last night. It is surmised that a spark from a traction-engine' fired the building, which was demolished in a/bout an l hour. The insurance on the building, piano nnd furniture was overdue, and the policy has lapsed, so there is a total loss.
