A BIG RISE IN CROSSBREIDS.

The Government has prohibited the exportation of wool to European countries other than. Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal and Russia, excepting tho Baltic ports.
The sales opened very firm. Cros3 breds showed 10 to 20 per cent, advance;
The Bank of Now Zealand has received tha following cable advices from its London office: —"The London wool tales opened yesterday. Orosabreda. medium and coarse, tan to fifteen per cent.; fine, par to five par cent.; slipeg, scoured, twenty to twenty-five per cent, higher; merinos, ten per cent, lowej."
