The Times' Nish correspondent says that half the population of Belgrade is taking refwgc there. The town is densely crowded. The British lypgution occupies half oi a dirty room in a grubby hotel. The Minister for War is housed in the Bishop's Palace. Outside .a small cafe hangs an ink-written sign, "Serbian Parliament." The spirit of the nation is wonderful. Reservists arrive from the fields, drop tho scythe, and shoulder the rille, say "Au revoir," and march to battle as to a new field of golden grain. The Servians aro disappointed at the poor fighting of the Austriana. Wounded Servians say that the Turks and Bulbars fought much better, adding: "We have heard the Japs are good soldiers. Wo would like to fight than next time."
