Street collectors: Messrs N. Thomipson, Jams, Baillic and 0. Putt. During (ho afternoon (Jhe Salvation Army band kindly agisted the cause !>,• playing from 2 to 4 p.m. in Devon street, and the committee, desire to thank the Army for its good service in thus assisting tdie collectors. The committee also wish to thank Mrs. N. K. MacLnturmd fur entertaining the collectors at afternoon tea, and Mr. MacDiaruiid for his services as trmsuror.

The committee will naeet on Tuesday to decide as to the disposal of the amount collected, one-fourth of it, less expenses, going to the lluntly Relief Fund.

The collectors were all pleased wtt'n the ready and willing response to their appeals, meeting with scarcely any nvfusals, though in some cases the doaations were specially ear-markeil for the poor 'in Britain, and th 0 wishes in tiiis respect will be carried out.
