Nieotl; auditor, Mr. H. ftoc'lcor; delegate to the ftporta Orounl Committee, Mr. Whittle; Thwi day Competition Committee (held over); Saturday Competition Committee, utfiwsrg Lash, Bain and Rev. Ohajppell; delegate to Now Zealand Cricket Council, Mr. Hardy; selectors, Messrs Bain. Surfcen and Nicoll. ALTERATION OB 1 RUMS.

Quilliam. brought up the question, of the appointment of a New Plymouth Cricket Council, as recommended by two meetings of cricdceters, the main olbjeot being the securing of grounds for the use of cricket clubs in the town. The matter was too large for any individual club to tac-klc. liev. Ghajipell. read a draft; of the constitution of the proposed Council on the limea already published.

iMx. Quilliam moved that the meeting approve of the format-icm of a Cricket Council for New Plymouth, and of tlie general principles of the droit constitution read to tie meeting, and that a committee, consisting of the Rev. Chappo.ll and Mesara l*uirdue and K. Quilliani bo set up to settle the details of the Constitution and report to <i meeting of the Association to the held on Thursday, Octo/ber 8.

Tho motion wa» carried. Mr. yuilluim rawed that tie dfclogates to the Council be given powers in terms of tho objects art forth in th# proposed constitution.—Tho motion was carried.

Mr. Foreman brought up the question na to whether the Tikorangi (3hnl>, beiiy the only junior club that paid a subscription, could have its subscription returned.

The matter was deferred till the bal-ance-shoot was under consideration.

lA hearty vote of thainks was accorded to those gentlemen who bad taken so much trouble over the proposed Cricket Council. A similar vote wa# accorded to the outgoing and the Press.

In anticipation of the formation of the proposed Cricket Council, the following delegates have already been ehosen:—United Service, Mr. Purdue; Law, Mr. It. Qmlliam; Albion, Mr. B. l'oate; Warehouses, Mr. A. B. Btobr; New Plymouth, Rev. Ohappell.
