ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
KILLED IN A JUNE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Rccfton, September 29. W. Beale, a married man with three children, a miner at the Blaekwater mines, was) sent down to No. 7 level to do repairing at 11 a.m. yesterday and was missed later in the afternoon. His body was found in the ■water at the bottom of the shaft with the neck broken. It is presumed he slipped down the shaft. It isi the first fatal accident in the Blaokwater mines. A LITTLE BOY ACCIDENTALLY KILLED. A sad fatality occurred yesterday morning, in which a bright little fellow, a little over three years of age, Oedfric ("Ceddie"), the son of Mr. and Mrs. J'. G. (Jeff) Russell, of Hine Btrect, was killed. Together with his brother, the little fellow was paying aJbout his father's workshop at South road. A sliding door -with which they ihad been playing became dislodged', and. fell on the younger boy, causing such injuries that he expired a comparatively Bhort time afterwards.
