IX WEST AUSTRALIA. By cable. —I'russ Association. —Copyright Received 28, 10.30 p.m. Perth, September 28. Parliament will be dissolved to-mor-row. The Council hag been prorogued until October 21st, the polling date for tho Assembly elections.
Australian papers to hand show that Mr W. VV. Hughes, whose name was omitted from the cabled list of members of the now Federal Ministry, has returned to the oiliee of Attorney-General that was held % him in the previous Labor Government. Keveiity-one out of tho 72 Labor men attended the caucus. Mr Fisher was elected chairman unopposed, and Senator >Pearce vice-chairman. This meant that these two gentlemen were forthwith selected as Ministers. Tho election was conducted on the exhausive ballot principle, and as each member secured an absolute majority his name was withdrawn from the contest.
