BOWLING.

THE STRATFORD CLUB. The warden of the Stratford gj'ecn is •to be congratulated upon the vast improvements ilready showing. The extensivo bare patches on the southern end of the green right through last season owing to the weed-killing campaign, were detrimental to full length bowling, but this year there will apparcnty be a strong 'turf right to tiic edge of the ditch. Mr Edgecombe and those associated with him, are certainly deserving [of the thanks of the members for this great improvement and for the general improvement o' the surroundings.
