AUSTRIANS RETIRE ON CRACOW. RUSSIANS OCCUPY TURKA. Received 28, 1.33 a.m. Petrograd, September 27. Official.—-The Austrians have fallea back to the west, largely utilising the railways, to Cracow. The Russians have occupied Turka.
FURTHER CAPTURES. AUSTRIANS A RABBLE. < HUNDREDS CAPTURED. Tctrograd, September 25. Prior to the capture, of Jarotilav the Austrian tranches were filled with wounded and dead, who had been lying there for days.. Prisoners had been foodless for four days. The Austrian troops in retreat are almost a rabble, and have hardly any officers left in many rcgi-, rnents. The Rusisans are in hot pursuit and capturing hundreds. Razky lias occupied two stations on the Cracow lino, while Brusilov lias captured St.aremiasto, on the line to Budapest. Official.—On the South-western front the Russians have taken the fortified positions of Tchisliki (iulsteein, covering Khyrow, also Wndymo, south-east of Jaroslav, which contained heavy artillery.
