Miss Bluiidell is the guest of Mrs. bteplienson, Wanganui. Mr. Arthur Hempton, manager of the Bank of New Zealand, Whangarei, paid a short visit to his people in New Plymouth, but has now returned. Miss Ina Lewis is the guest of her sister, Mrs. G. T. Murray. Mrs H. Briscoe, Hamilton, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. iMeAlluiii. Frankley Road. _ _ _ • Miss Matthews, wlio is visiting Mrs. Bailey, Taihape, returns to New Plymouth'next Tuesday. Mrs. Birch-Johnston, who has been on a visit to Palmcrston and Wellington, returned by the mail train last night. Mr. and iMrs. Lysaght, Hawera, spent last week-end in New Plymouth.
Dr. Elizabeth Gunn, who has been paying New Plymouth a visit, has returned to Wellington. Mr, and Mrs, Joe Kenny, Wellington, are at present in New Plymouth. Mr. ami Mrs. Coyle, Wellington, are visiting New Plymouth, and are at present staying at the Mountain House. "The Dandies."—During this week a three nights' season of the Orange Dandies was held in the Theatre Royal, and the scheme of the entertainment to the New Plymouth minds will be. a delightful memory, they being considered the best party of entertainers that has set a programme before a local audience. Amongst those present were: Mrs. E. Walker, iliss Ferrier, Mrs. Penn, Misses Penn, Mrs. F. Fookcs, Misses Capel, Mrs. H. Collier, Mrs. Dowling, Miss Dowling, Mrs. R. Outfield, Miss Brewster, Mrs. Crooke, Misses Crooke, Mrs. T. Anderson, Misses Bedford, Misses Roy, Mrs. 11. Cock, Mrs. Paget (Stratford), Misses Mackay, Mrs. B. Chaney, Mrs. J.
