ELTIUM-AWATUNA. The cycle road r.icc from Eltliam t6 Awatuna ami luuk, ffi> miles, on Thursday, was won by 11. Andrews, of Eltham (handicap Uroiu), in lhr 23 min 30scc. W. Sharrock, of Stratford (15rnin) waa second, in lhr 36min; A. Parker of Eltliam (7min), -third, in lhr 30mih, and P. Hill, of Eltluim (Gmiii), fourth, in lhr |29min. P. Orifiin, off scratch/made the fastest time, lhr 24min 2oßec. Twcntyone started, and 18 finished. A, 0. Parkes, S. White, and P. Hill fell, and of the three only Hill was able to resume the journey.
