Miss Norah Dcmpsey, of the Auckland Hospital nursing staff, is visiting her parents. Mrs. Pcarce, of Hawcra, is on a short visit to New Plymouth.

Miss Whitton, of the nursing staff of the Thames Hospital, who is on a visit to her people in New Plymouth, returns on Monday.

The Dandies.—The approaching visit of "The Dandies" is being awaited with interest. The artists of the company are capable and versatile. They will be heard in excerpts from grand opera, including the celebrated sextette from |"Lucia di Laminermoor," and the coined v section will take a prominent place. The leading emnediau is Mr. Roland Henrv, said to be exceptionally funny. Excellent aid is given by .Messrs Harry Webster, Andrew Pace and George Taylor, a trio of light comedians. Amongst the vocalists is Miss Luida Bradford, a delightful contralto singer, who was a member of the late Melba Grand Opera Company.
