BOWLING.
THE NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A meeting of tho new couneil of the New Zealand Bowling Association was held here to-day. Mr A. M Bryden, of Auckland, was elected secretary for the coming season. A resolution was passed affirming the desirability of sending a Dominion team to compete in the Australasian Easter tournament. It was decided to limit tho official team to six rinks, but the principle of selection was deferred. It was decided to hold the Association's championship tournament in January next. A similar levy to that made last year, viz., sixpence per member on each centre, was again decided on. 1 THE FITZROY CLUB. The Fitzroy Club's greens were open for play on Thursday, and were in remarkably good order. The greens and surroundings show the result of much hard work by members during the winter, and the club's property is a credit to them. Thursday's games were very enjoyable.
