Good prices were obtained as follows:—Hens, young, 2s to tis, fat 2s 8d to 2s lid; cockerels, young, 2s to 2s Gd, fat 2s Sd to 2s lid; pullets (laying), 2s 7d to 3s 10d; .liens (laying), 2s lOd to 3s Id; ducks, iat 2s 5d to 2s 6d, purebred Indian Runners 2s 7d, drakes 2s Gd to 3s; turkey hens, 4s 0J to 5s Gd; turkey gobblers, Gs Dd to 7s W. Furniture. —On Wednesday, on account of the executors in the estate cf the late Mr. C. W. Govett, we held a clearing sale of all liis bouse furniture and effects in tlie Brougham Street Hall. There was a large attendance of tlie public, and each line offered met with a ready sale. Fruit.—During tlie week very little fruit lias been offering.
