NW PLYMOUTH DEFEAT WAITARA. A team of eight men and five ladies from the New iplymouii Club journeyed to Waitara yesterday and played a similar number from the local club. The weather waa perfect and the course waa in fine order, showing a. greait improvement on last jw, so tiiiat a, most enjoyable day was spent, the enjoyment being greatly contributed to by the hospitable treatment that t'he visitors received at the hands of the local ladies, who dispensed 1 a -lice afternoon tea. The match resulted in a win for New Plymouth by ten gara'o» to three, two of the mien and 0113 of the ladle's losing a game.
