The people of Berlin are lilled with the noetic animation of gamblers making a last desperate throw. Hatred of England is burning fiercely. Patriotic concerts arc held daily in' halls and cafes. There is a colossal output of postcards unfit to describe, but regarded by Berliners as riotously humorous.
