Official.—The German troops brought from the west concentrated on the River Alle, whence they have begun to move in great columns across Masarian lakes. The Russian advanced troops are holding the enemy's advance. Polish miners at Bendin were compelled by the Germans to load coal on the trucks. They concealed some dynamite in each truck, with appalling results. A military train was completely destroyed and an ammunition factory was blown up. The Cossacks wrecked an armored train near Chenstokoff, and practically annihilated the Germans. They captured several quickfirers.
