SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12. _ For Australian States, South Africa, China and Japan, via Auckland-, at 0.15 a.m. Unless otherwise specified, money orders and registered letters close one hour, and parcel-post parcels thirty minutes before the. ordinary mail. The rates of postage to Samoa are tho same as for other British possessions.
