ORANGE BLOSSOM.
OLD-KIBBY. At Holy Trinity Church, Te Hen:ii, yesterday,' in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends, Percy, the youngest son of Mr. Robert Old, of New Plymouth, and Jessie, only daughter of Mr. James Ki'bby, of Fitzroy, were married by the Ven. Archdeacon Evans. The bride's drees was >o£ cream embroidered silk, very handsome veil and wreath of orange blossoms being very effective. Mr. Kibby give away his daughter, who had for bridesmaid Miss (lara, sister of the bridegroom, whose dress was of embroidered muslin. Both carried pretty bouquets. The. t>«Ht man was Mr. ctare, of Waitara. At the cionc-lusion of the ceremony the "Wedding March" -was effectively rendered on the organ by Miss Jackson. The bridegroom's present *o the bride was a pretty gold peml-tnt, 'and to the bridesmaid a gold bangle, "while the bride's present to the bridegroom was a travelling Tug. The wedding 'breakfast. was served at. the residence of the 'bride's father, Mrs. P. Calgher acting as hostess. The usual toasts were duly Hionorcd and hearty good wishes expressed for the future happiness and prosperity of the newly-married couple. The large number of presents', which included an enviable amount, of cheques, gave ample testimony'to the popularity and esteem in which thp two parties to t,he contnct are held.
