Wellington, Monday. I The Commission recently set up to [ regulate the prices of foodstuffs and other commodities in common use, is still sitting in Wellington, and will remain here for some days. It is probable that the members will go to Christchurch before the end of the week. At present they are considering the prices of wheat, Hour and bread. The iPrime Minister informed a reporter to-day that the House would probably be asked to deal with the Estimates on Tuesday night.. He added that he did not think it would be neceasary to introduce any emergency legislation, with the exception of a few amendments to remedy defects in the Acts already passed. None of theso amendments would De serious or important.
