ENTERTAINMENTS.

EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. The new programme to bo screened to-night contains several star films. "Marvels of Nature," or '"'A Day with Cherry Kcarton in the East," is a splendid reproduction of the inhabitants of an Indian jungle. "The Master of the Mine" is a story of human hearts, showing the sordid sidd of nature and ultimately the happier theme of the dawning of woman's love. "The Black Mask" is the first of a thrilling scries of dramatic tales of John Perriton's stage career. In the comedy section, "When Hazel met the Villain" (by Keystone) is sure to be in the lead. The other films are up to the high standard set by the Empire. Reserves as usual.
