MANY MISSING MEN PROBABLY IN

| HOSPITALS. Received 3, 1.30 a.m. London, September 2 (morning). An official statement gives the casual- | ties in our cavalTy brigade and three I divisions as minus. One brigade shows 35 officers killed, 57 wounded, ana 95 missing; other ranks, 127 killed, 629 wounded, and 4183 missing. A considerable proportion of the missing are wounded who were sent to hospitals out of touch with headquarters. Thti names of the officers will be published on Wednesday.
