Massey this evening wiuft regard to the shipment r,f. dairy produce to die Home maikets. It was pointed out uiat owing to -boats being tauen lor transport purposes, ttic Shaw, tJavm and New Zealand Shipping Coya, with whom the National Association had n contract, would practically be unable to carry out their contract.
The deputation agiceu that if any more boats were taKeil they snould not taice those insulated, it was suggested tihe Government mife-- consider the likelihood 01 obtaining other boat®.

Massey, in reply, said ihe recognised the importance of the request, anu the necessity to carry on :buaines« Nothing wmild be left undone to provide necessary shipping, and he thougnt they would tad the bottoms ready to carry their produce as usual. Produce would be taken to fill all available spice on the transports.
