[ By Telegraph.—rr«s 8 Association. . Christrlnu-ch, Saturday. Ihe Canterbury ladies' hockev team this afternoon met and defeated tlm Wairaiapa reps. It was a very interesting game all through, and althonsrh Canterbury won, the Wairarapa girls put up a great fight and made the play always exciting. There was a large crowd to witness the game. The match resulted: Canterbury 5, Wairarapa 4.
ENGLAND v. NELSON
Nelson, Saturday, lne English ladies' hockey team. ItuiVi'd Nelson to-dav. The visitors jihowed marked superiority, in all brandies, winning by eight to nil.
