KAHOI DAmt CO. ■ ; ANNUAL MEETING. ~'.' The annual meeting of the Kahu Co-operative-Dairy Company, which was held in the Raliotu Hall, was attended by about ,20 suppliers. Mr.' J. Eatoek (chairman of directors) presided. Tho report, which was adopted after some ' discussion, showed that during the year ended 30th -Tune, 1914. 2,385,0301b5. of milk had been received, from which'23B,;3731b5. of cheese (factory weights) were manufactured, «a result of lib gf cheese to lOlbs ■of "niilk, and' 2.joolbs. i ef cheese t-3 lib. of butter-tat. the average test was 3.84. From the past •vear's manufacture of cheese (238,3731bs factory weight less shrinkage, etc.) net 232,3421b5., 227,302 have, been sold for .-CSW2 133 10(1, netting 0.0-Sd per lb. and -l!)801bs. remained at the freezing works and -at the.' factory, value : £115; His. f Tho aaiwunt paid out to suppliers per lib. of butter-fat was 11,72 d. The uni suitability of the curing-room and qther I defects have njutli militated ivainst the production'of i' ; i evVir'and hij;ii' quality 'of cheese, but i '"<• div t ,n;s have; arranged for such ad.iU'.'.iu amf alterations as would remedy the defects referred to. The balance-sheet -showed that milk advances had totalled £4-4Sfi 12s. For -the directorate, the following seven were nominated:—Messrs , Larking, T. Willcox, "W. Fleming, H. It was 'decided to pay one per cent, interest on share, capital, and to disj tribute the balance among the supi pliers. ~.. At a subsequent meeting, Mr F. VVillcox was elected chairman of directors.v
