The Canadian-Pacific Railway steamer Princess Victoria collided witn the Unit- !i od States steamer Admiral Sampson, and * s t sank in four minutes near Seattle. The '* Admiral Sampson was en route from Alaska, and carried fifty-six passengers & and a crew o* sixty-five, of whom seven- '* teem were drowned, including the cap. "s tain. The Princess Victoria proceeded > * after rescuing the euiwivors.
