IMPERIAL DEFENCE FUND.

If the money is donated for equipping local men. it is spent in that way. Equipment can be bought and, if approved by the Defence. Department, will be paid for out of the fund. Thus contributors can be sure that What is provided is lip to standard, that there will be no overlapping, or waste, and that the fund will be properly administered and audited.''
