BIBLE-IN-SCHOOLS AMBULANCE.
(To the Editor.) Sir.- -Once again I venture to trespass ou your space with regard to the .CKHtf) for ambulances promised by tin? Bible in State Schools League, lor the use of the New Zealand contingents. Tip to Saturday last over £I3OO had been subscribed by the various branches in the Dominion, and, this being so, no further contributions are required. From Taranaki 1 have already forwarded £25, and I have a. further £ls in hand, which I purposed sending ou today, but shall not now do so. This amount, which includes a donation of no less than £!) from the matron and nursing stall' of the New Plymouth Hospital, I purpose handing over to bis Worship the Mayor for our local Patriotic Fund for the relief of distress. Should this proposal not be in accordance with the wi>lies of anyone who has handed me their subscription within the hist three days, I shall be glad if they will notify me.—l ahi . etc., C. E.
