In 1547 (luring the course of a long aeries of experiments with numerous rheumatic and gouty subjects, scientists first noticed that the blood of every patient contained excess uric acid. Thus the cause of Rheumatism and its kindred diseases, Sciatica, Lumbago, Gravel and Stone was at last discovered. Thousands of prescriptions to expel tliis excess were tried, but without success. One of New Zealand's leading eliemists worked at the problem for many a year. At last he compounded a medicine which cured practically every case—cured even those who had suffered for twenty years and more. One told another of this splendid remedy, and thus the sales of RIIEUMO grew until to-day it can be purchased all over New Zealand. iIHEUMO has been tried, tested and proved effectual by thousands of sufferers. Here's a case in point: Mr. Alexander Miller, of Roslyn, is one of Dunedin's builders. Briel and business-ke, he writes: "I suffered from Rheumatism in my back for two months, and was cured by RHEUMO in two or three days. I can recommend it to anyone suffering from the sac.e complaint." You can take Mr. Miller's recommendation. All stores and chemists, 2s Gd and la 6d. 41 NO MORE INDIGESTION WONDERS ACHIEVED BY NEW PRODUCT. It seems reasonable, to suppose that in a short time there will lie no more indigestion or dyspepsia. The old style "digestives," such as bismuth, pepsine, charcoal, soda, etc., which after afil are only temporary in their effects, are rapidly becoming discarded in iavor of a simple antacid, known to chemists as bisuratcd magnesia, with the result that physicians are being called upon to treat fewer cases of stomach trouble than ever before. This is not so very surprising when it is remembered that, according to available statistics, over jiiivtv per Cent, of all stomach troubles are due to acidity. Bisuratcd magnesia may readily be obtained from any chemist at a small cost, and lialf-a-teaspoonful taken in a little water after meals will immediately neutralise all harmful acids in the stomach, prevent fermentation, and thus render the food easy of- digestion.
