HARBORMASTER'S REPORT. The har'o'jimaster, Captain Waller: reported that during the five weeks ending 15th August, 33 steamers aggregating 34,617 ions, entered the port. The imports Piuounted to 9345 tons, of which 2032 tons consisted of coal for the railway and 577 ten*, fo- private use. The exports amounted to 549 tons, making a total of 9894.t0ns Handled- . FOREMAN'S REPORT. The foreman reported that the Paritutu dredge bad worked 283 hours, removing 28,400 tons in 20 days. After the inshore dredging was completed on July 17, dredging was continued outwards from the end of the wharf for 04(i feet, the first 220 feet toeing dredged to 23 feet at low water.
