At a general meeting of the M'angatoki Daily Co. on Thursday, the following motion was carried: —"That during the continuance of the war the directors ibe empowered to induct % P er cent; from monthly cheques in accord with other companies, the said money from this company to be funded for the present, and that it 'he left for-the directors to convene a meeting of shareholders, when the directors consider the time has come, and that the general meeting decide the method of spending the money accumulated."
