FIELD AMBULANCES.
To the Editor. Sir,—May I again trespass on your space to announce that on In-half of th* Bible-iii State-Schools League I am forwarding a chcmic to headquarters to day, which, will one previously sent, makes a total of .€AS 7s (id towards the cost of two ambulances promised by the U-ngue for the use of our bovs at the front. No person has been asked for subscription, not is it intended to publish the names of those who have contributed, though 1 shall be pleased to show it to anyone interested, but 1 would particularly like to acknowledge •the generosity of three anonymous donors of t'.i, €.">, and £1 respectively. ,T would also like to acknowledge the very generous treatment of the Taranaki Daily 'News and the Herald in the matter of advertising. If there arc any other persons who are anxious to contribute to this Fund who have not yet had an opportunity of doing so. 1 shall still be pleased to receive amounts handed mc.—l am. etc., C. E.
