According to. a letter sent to the School Committee by Mr. J. B. Hinc, M.P., there is no longer any fear that the Taranaki Education Board's career will be terminated. The Bishop of the Diocese has been visiting Stratford, and leaves here today for Inglewood. The Ven, Archdeacon Evans accompanied Bishop Averill. v At the School Committee meeting on Tuesday evening, the visiting committee reported as to the work necessary to be done in connection with enlarging the playground by removing the headmaster's residence. The full committee arranged to meet on the ground and decide what was to be done.
