BELGIANS LEAVE CANADA. . Ottawa, August 17. Two thousand Belgian reservists have sailed from Montreal to London. The Minister of Militia sent them a message: "You are going to to defend the liberties , ,- of all humanity and humble the greatest tyrant of modern times." The Finance Minister has received a ■war contribution of 500,000 dollars from Mr. Eoss, a Montreal steel magnate.
