Before t'lie Meat Trust Commission, A representative oi the Birc Company gave evidence that he was sending shipments of meat to the Armour Company in America. Armour's had been buying cattle largely in Queensland for years. They did not intend to erect works in Australia, but would bay supplies from the existing meat works. He did not think Armtour'u purchuees had tended to raise the prices of cattle.
