Naval Successes
CRUISERS FIGHT GERMANS PUT TO FLIGHT. Received 13. 1 a.m. New York, August 12. Captain Terjeson. of the Norwegian si earner l.ovland, reports that a battle was fought between German and British cruisers about 250 miles north of San Salvador, and the German cruiser fled under the Britishers' fire. The extent of the damage was not known.
