CENSORSHIP OVERDONE
PROTEST IN BRITISH PARLIAMENT THOUSANDS OF POUNDS LOST. Received 12, 12.5 a.m. London, August 11 (Morning). Mr T. O'Connor, in the House of Commons, asked tile Postmaster-Cone-ral whether he was aware that thousands of pounds were, being wasted owing to the censorship of cables. - 11.. asserted that messages were censored three times at London, three times at Watervillc. and three times at the other Iside of the Ai'antic. He requested that, the. function should be performed bv trained journalists. Ml- Hobhouse said the AVar Office, and not the Pos. Oll'ice, controlled the censorship. ' WAR ON SEA.
