Lowe (England) ended in Doust defaulting on account of the heat after the score was one set each and seven games a.-piece in the third eet—6—4, 4-6, 7—7. Doust was very wild in his service and erratic and faulty at the net; He improved in the second set. The heat prevented the Best work. The match Parke y. Dunlop was a spiritless affair,, Parke winning a straight, set—o, C—s, 6—3. To-day's matches are merely an exhibition. The official final scores for the Davis Cup are: Australia 3, England 2.
