XOTI!.— I This herd of cows lias been bred up for the last 20 rears from Shorthorns of the milking strain, and to-day is probably one of the best Shorthorn herds in Taranaki. The cows are all in excellent condition and sound, there being only one threequarter cow in the whole line, and thoiv has been no abortion on the property for years. A large proportion will have calved by the end of this month. Intending purchasers can inspect the herd ai, any time. Mr. Maefie's reason for selling is that he intends to mate considerable improvements on the property,and use it as a fattening farm.
