TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN, AND HIDE SALE. W..M. BAYLY & CO.'S REPORT. On Tuesday last wo held our usual monthly sale of the above produce, when we submitted a varied catalogue. We had the usual attendance of buyers and competition was keen. We quote: Wool.— Crutehings in bales, 7d to 7Vid; in sacks, C'/ 2 d to ?d; fleece in bags, B'/ad; iambs, S'/^d. Sheepskins.—Full wools, to 7d; "/i-wools, 7Mid to 8d; Vs-ivools, 7d to T/u<l '%-wools, 5d to ;y 2 do settlers' lamb pelts, G'/ 2 d to B%d; damp '/.-wools {is 4d each; butchers salted, 4s 3d to as Bd. ■Hides.—Heavy butchers' cow, S'/gd to B'/ 2 d; medium butchers' cow, 8d to 8 1 ,/&•-!; settlers' cow, to 8d; medium settlers' yearlings, 8d to B%d; calfskins, medium, B%d to 3d; slinks, !)d; horsehair, Is 2d per lb.
